Fix Firefox memory leaks with this restart add in
I'm constantly closing and restarting Firefox due to the severe memory leaks. Restarter is a cool add in that will close and restart FF with one click. Seems to work quite well. Highly recommended.
Seriously trivial thoughts

My cable modem was unable to connect yesterday, so I called techsupport. After about 15 minutes of holding and the obligatory check-the-lights-unplug-replug, I got an appointment THREE DAYS in the future! Later I went behind the TV and made sure the coax cables were fully screwed in…they weren't. The modem connected right up. Now the …
For some unknown reason, when you play SOME podcast at the fast (chipmonk) speed, the sound becomes garbled when the screensaver kicks in. There have been similar reports supposedly due to MP3s using VBR (variable bit rate), instead of the more common CBR (constant bit rate). The only difference I see is that the offending …
Found this on eHow.com and was skeptical that it would really work with my Sansa Fuze, but low and behold it does! Basically, after connecting the cable to your Sansa, you just slowly plug the USB cable into your PC. Watch for the charging indicator on the screen. The charging pins–for some reason–connect before the …
I used to think that Creative Zens were the best MP3 players for my needs, but after much research I decided to switch camps and try the Sansa Fuze. Why? No special software to install: The Fuze can appear as a removable drive and you just drag and drop your music. By default it will …
I got a new MP3 player and it turns out the album art doesn't show up if the jpg file isn't something like folder.jpg. Well, most people would probably just say oh well. Well, I figured out a relatively easy way to find the offending files and rename them…saving time, right? It just occured to …
I've had many MP3 players and usually they come with some pre-installed songs. For some reason I've JUST come to the realization that they pretty much ALWAYS suck. They obviously don't put too much thought in the selection of songs. You would think that record companies would use this was a chance for people to …
Rumors are apparently surfacing Apple is getting ready to introduce a subscription iTunes service in September. That would be SO cool. I'm a long time Napster and Rhapsody subscriber, and would love to see this type of service on an iPod Touch. Hope it's true.
I use Vista on my Motion Computing LE1700 tabletPC and don't have any issues with it. I'll admit that I do most of my work on my main XP system, but it's not like Vista blows up or crashes frequently, if at all. You should check out Microsoft's Mojave Experiment where they show people a …
Got a 8% discount from Buy.com and pulled the trigger on an 8GB Sansa Fuze mp3 player for just $105. Why’d I choose the Fuze? No special software to install music (drag and drop) Passive bookmarking. Automatically remembers where you left off on audiobooks and podcasts SDHC slot for future storage expansion (8GB avail now, …
