I accompanied my daughter, Taylor, to the Austin Spartan race. Lugged my gear and took some shots. Wasn’t really possible to take photos while she was running unfortunately. Poor thing got dehydrated, but toughed it out and finished the race! Very proud of her.

Took a short hike down to Grass Valley Lake and came across some Egrets. Only had my 70-200mm lens so this shot is nearly 1:1 crop. Wish I had my 600mm. Oh well.

Now that I’ve figured out how to convert an HDMI signal to component and, thus, allow my Slingbox M1 to work, I started wondering if it was possible to record the Slingbox output. Turns out it’s pretty easy.
A couple discounts on Bluetooth headphones caught my eye recently. The first was on the Mpow [Gen-2 Version] Cheetah Nano-coating Bluetooth 4.1 Stereo Sports Headphones for $24.99 ($3 off the normal price). The reviews were decent so I took a chance. I like them.
